Difficult working relationship

I hired this individual based on their previous experience, but unfortunately, the reality did not match expectations. Deadlines were frequently missed, and communication with the wider team was inconsistent.
There were several occasions where tasks had to be reassigned to ensure projects stayed on schedule. Feedback was provided throughout the employment period, but improvements were limited.
That said, they were polite and professional in their interactions with clients, which was one of their stronger qualities.
