Poor management and no work-life balance

I worked here for just over a year and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Staff were regularly expected to cover extra shifts at short notice, and there was very little understanding when personal circumstances made this difficult.
Communication from management was inconsistent, and responsibilities often changed without much explanation. While some colleagues were supportive, the overall working environment became stressful over time.
There is potential for the business to improve, but stronger leadership and better communication with employees would make a significant difference.
